Five IIT Students Accepted for Research Program in Germany - Summer 2009

Research Internships in Science and Engineering (RISE) selected five IIT students for summer 2009.  RISE is a summer internship program for undergraduate students from the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences and engineering. 

The program offers unique opportunities for undergraduate students to work with research groups at universities and top research intstitutions across Germany for 1.5-3 months during the summer.  The working language is English.

This year there were 1160 applications and only 330 were accepted into the program!

Congratulations and good luck to the IIT students: Titilayo Craig, Emmanuel Flores, James Kapaldo, Manuel Lopez and Julian Spinoza.
